Shocks

A pretty uneventful but notable update here. I noticed while driving around over speed bumps that the car was squeaking a bit and rocking maybe more than it should be. So I brought it into Meineke (mainly because they were available same day, otherwise I would have preferred my go-to mechanic).
Anyway, not so shocking (no pun intended) they said two of the shocks were bad, and another one was leaking something. I’ll believe anything so I said take my money, and a few hours later I’m told that all 4 shocks were replaced with Monroe shocks.

For whatever reason, the invoice says struts, but the guy says the struts were fine and that he just “greased them up”. Again, I’ll believe anything so, ok.
I will say this, there is either a major placebo effect from having shocks installed or it really did need new shocks, because it drives totally different now. So, seemingly money well spent!
