Transport to New York, Again.

It made it! It only took 2 months, 5 auto transport companies, the police, 4 notarized letters, and a locksmith. After getting the car re-keyed, it was able to be started, and therefore able to be picked up by a new driver.
The new company I hired, Montway, left no drama for me to discuss. I said “pick it up here and drop it off there”, they showed up, picked it up, dropped it off to me 4 days later. Seems like magic after my earlier experiences.

I‘m happy to report the car drives and is in the condition I expected. However, my temporary inspection sticker expired weeks ago, and I need to get it to a mechanic right away for that. But first, I had to make sure it’ll actually pass inspection.


There we go.
Now, off to the garage for some basic maintenance, a thorough inspection, and an expected laundry list of recommended repairs...
